시인 선서
시인이여
절실하지 않고, 원하지 않거든 쓰지 말라.
목마르지 않고, 주리지 않으면 구하지 말라.
스스로 안에서 차오르지 않고 넘치지 않으면 쓰지 말라.
물 흐르듯 바람 불듯 하늘의 뜻과 땅의 뜻을 좇아가라.
가지지 않고 있지도 않은 것을 다듬지 말라.
세상의 어느 곳에서 그대 시를 주문하더라도 그대의
절실성과 내통하지 않으면 응하지 말라.
그 주문에 의하여 시인이 시를 쓰고 시 배달을 한들
그것은 이미 곧 썩을 지푸라기 시이며, 거짓말시가 아니냐.
시인이여, 시의 말 한 마디 한 마디가 그대의 심연을
거치고 그대의 혼에 인각된 말씀이거늘,
치열한 장인의식 없이는 쓰지 말라. 장인의 단련을 거치지 않은,
얼마나 가짜시가 들끓는가를 생각하라.
시인이여, 시여. 그대는 이 지상을 살아가는 인간의
삶을 위안하고 보다 높은 쪽으로 솟구치게 하는 가장
정직한 노래여야 한다.
그대는 외로운 이, 가난한 이, 그늘진 이, 핍박받는 이,
영원 쪽에 서서 일하는 이의 맹우여야 한다.

Photographer Vincent Brady used a special rig holding four cameras to capture hundreds of images that he stitched together to produce beautiful 360 degree Planetary Panoramas. He left the cameras to take pictures for up to three hours at a time in locations such as Devils Tower in Wyoming (pictured left) and Monument Valley in Arizona (bottom right) and used long exposure times. The result appears to mimic the swirls seen in Vincent van Gogh's famous masterpiece Starry Night (top right).
